Hil Smith (they/them) is an aspiring geriatric care nurse. Hil is seeking a role that will allow them to work with and learn from an established team in a supportive professional environment to provide exceptional service. Hardworking, adaptable, and accustomed to faced-paced work, Hil is a capable multitasker adept at providing professional, courteous service and labour.
Following their graduation from Queen’s University (BA(H)) and Humber College (Post Graduate Certificate), Hil Smith has accumulated many years of experience in film and television post-production. They are a skilled project manager with experience supporting integrative creative teams to complete various projects under urgent deadlines. However, throughout these years Hil continued to be fascinated by health and wellness and drawn to caring for others.
Hil is currently attending Trent University’s Compressed Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Their areas of interest include gerontology, geriatric psychiatry, lifestyle and wellness management for older adults, hospice and palliative care, healthcare systems research and improvement, and health equity.
